One of the most commonly misunderstood rules is Rule 6 - Pitching Regulations. Many coaches and pitching teachers don't know the proper rule, and because of this we see a lot of pitching errors even at the All-Star and Travelball level's. As umpires, we recognize the need to help teach and correct the girls on these errors, but it cannot be left up to us to teach these rules. So, in order to help each other out, we've put together a document that you can look at and get all your answers about illegal pitches.
